okay so i know my prices are discounted already..so it annoys me when they ask for more. So i got my first complain ever in 2 yrs... and she claims her nails came off a week later...okay so i understand n tell her id give her a 5 discount next design set...so she calls me and wants french nails....minus 5...im like i charge 15 for french and im suppose to book her in for a 10 set....i dont think so.... How do i let my clients know that my prices are right and if i do offer discount they cant take advantage of me either? ah

some people tend to take advantage of other kindness. The best way to solve this problem is to be upfront with the client. Tell her that your price is already discounted. If she wants a cheaper price, she could go somewhere else. Sometimes it is better to let her go and let her see the reality of cheap quality work of low price, then she will return back to you as soon as she sees the truth about cheap pricing work. Good luck my friend
Being taken advantage of like that is a terrible insult. When you are already rock-bottom on pricing I know everyone is on hard times right now, but people also need to understand that this is how we make a living. When you take the cost of materials and portion of overhead out of your fees and divide the remaining balance by the amount of time you spend you will most likely find that not only are you making less than minimum wage, you should probably hike your prices! I would only give a 'discount for inconvenience' on the exact same service originally performed.
