I really want to grow my nails out but they always chip or break? Does anyone know what i can use to grow them out or any products that will help them grow and be strong. Also any tips for growing them out will be appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

I would look for some NailTek II or even some Rejuvicote at your local supply house. Use as directed. Along with regular manicures and home care with cuticle oil--it should help.
thanks. I'll try it.
i have used nail envy by opi in the past after taking off enhancements, and i could notice a difference in my nails within a week or two.
thank you so much
If you cook alot as well garlic is really good for your nails too
i put fresh garlic in everything, i even eat a clove when i start to get sick lol and mine havent turned yellow...knock on wood lol
hi maricela im kellie and im new to this site but not to your problem. I have never had this problem but many of my friends have and ive found a product that would cure this for you. Its by sally hansen my favorite brand and its called maximum growth and strenght. You can buy it at walmart. It helps prevent your nails from any type of breakage and keeps them healthy and strong! I actually use it to keep mines healthy and strong. My nails fortunately dont break. But its a very affordable polish its like 4 or 5 bucks. Its clear but it comes in purple and pink transparency. Hope this helps. Oh if you cant find it, it has a little rain drop on the handle part half of it is green and the other is yellow hope this helps!
please let me know if it does help!
After the garlic you can rub your nails with half of lemon. It takes away the yellow color..After that you can do massage to your nails with olive oil
I'd like to share with you the truth on this subject. Finger nails are hereditary. It might make a big difference in your motivation to first determine if long nails are “in your blood,” if you will. If the females on your mother’s side naturally grow long pretty nails, then you probably shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Now if long nails are in your family, and yours don’t seem to be growing, (and it happens) it could just mean they need a boost—a little encouragement. It means you must provide optimal growing conditions for your nails. That means adopt a daily nail care routine that includes oil, and stick with it. Abusing nail hardeners is one of the biggest causes of cracking, splitting and peeling nails. Nail hardeners (strengtheners) were not meant to be worn ALL the time. Doing so will give you the EXACT opposite effect you desire, and can actually reduce nail growth. And long term abuse can cause more serious damage.

Follow the directions on the bottle of hardener you find works for you. Follow those directions for 10 days only. Then you must leave off for 7 days. Repeat this process. Along with your daily oil and massage, if in 3-weeks you have NO difference in your nails, stop using that nail hardener, and try another. Taking a seven day break, of course.

The MOST IMPORTANT rule to growing long healthy nails is massaging cuticle oil (CND Solar Oil is the best on the market) into your nail twice a day minimum. With one of those times being just before bed. I wear acrylics and still do it several times a day. Making sure to massage into cuticles as well as polish and nail art.

Flexibility! NOT strength, is what keeps nails from breaking. Flexibility doesn’t exist in dehydrated nails. Dehydrated nails have no moisture. Diligent and constant use of cuticle oil will give your nails optimal flexibility, thus, nails that will “give” on impact and hot break.

Also: Eat healthy, drink lots of water, limit sun exposure to nails, and avoid over-exposure to water.

My motto: “Protect & Serve. Protect your nails, and they’ll serve you well. : )

I hoped this helped, and good luck to you.
