Hey Kim draw a thick line of paint down the nail then another thick line with anther color move quickly then just drag your brush across the lines. So thats down first then across. Have a good one. p.s draw the lines down all the way
So are you useing a certain brush are a wood stick for marbling
I like to do the water marble also. get a cup of water and then drop the color of polish that you want in the the water and it will spread and do that for each color that you want then take a pin or toothpick and swirl the polish around in the water till you like the look of it then dip the nail into the water and pull it out.....and your done let dry and put a top coat on it.... its a great fun easy way and you can mix so many colors. look it up on you tube for a video on how to do it. I also do the Drag art like Stephanie does. Good luck and post pics when you do them.
Hey do you have to do this with a certain kind of polish because I have tried it a few times and every time it doesn't work the polish gets stuck to the pin and turns into a big mess. I know you have to move quickly and I did but still doesn't work. So I was wondering if maybe I was doing something wrong....
No I have used all kinds from OPI, China Glaze and even the Bon Bons(cheap 99 cents kind) Just go to You tube and search for water marble nail art and watch a couple of the videos Trust me it will help you get it right. Also Trial and Error is the best way to learn anything.
