I actually had fun doing it, since I'm getting used to doing them. I'm going to keep trying until I'm satisfied with the results. Thanks, LadyNailz for encouraging me to keep at it.Continue

Hi Cynthia, Yes, monomer is the proper name for the acrylic liquid. As for the 3-D… Unfortunately I won’t be able to get my beginners level 3-D nail art tutorial up until after the first of the year. But in the mean time, check out youtube videos for “cozmozoner” and Organicnails.” Many of their videos show up close, and slow steps involved with making basic flower petals. That’s a good place to start. Good luck.

hello gals..

I've been doing acrylics for about of couple of months, I would say that I'm immediate. But I can' t get the 3D nail art down :( ... any tips? Also I've heard about monomer (or is it monotone..) is that the same as acrylic liquid?

Hm, odorless? I never would have thought odorless acrylic would change the consistency. I've never used it, so I wouldn't have known. Wow, ya learn something new everyday. : ) You are so very welcome for any help I was able to give. I’m glad you have a product that works for you, and I know you’re having a blast with it. Keep it up girl, and never stop practicing.

Thanx for being such a help, LadyNailz. I used TT Prizma powders for my 3D art. I don't mind trying other brands, but i did find out that Odorless doesn't make good 3D art at all...that's what discouraged me to try again. Thanx to all of your tips, it's so easy now.

That's awesome Keesha! I'm so happy for you... and jealous too. lol.
I will never forget my first experiments with colored acrylic. And I envy you getting into. Just for the record, there is no turning back now. As I'm typing this now I know you are already hooked. Pretty soon, if it hasn't happened already, you will pawn relatives to get money for more colored acrylic. My suggestion... I started with the cousins. : ) Have fun, like I know you are, and please, please show me some pictures of your work, I'm dying to see.

PS- don't worry about the relatives... I'll have them back before Christmas.
