Comment by Jen Williams on June 11, 2010 at 8:09pm: Primer works best on a dust free surface, so with that being said, no it will not being that and its been proven that nail chippings or particles will not dissolve in the primer. look at it this way once your primer dries you will be left with tiny particles on the nail so it will create a barrier between the nail plate and the acrylic or gel causing air pockets to form and the foundation of the application weak and prone to lifting, because of poor adhesion. hope this helps

Comment by Tharrany Mc Donald on May 29, 2010 at 1:52pm: What I do when I prep the nails is I use a nail dehydrator, the nail dehydrator helps with the prevention of nail lifting you can also get a spray bottle & put half water half alchohal that helps with dehydrating the nails & sanitizing. Hope this helps
