How do you get someone "pinky" toe to grow like the rest of the other toes.  What products could you apply to lighten the pinky toe.

it really depends on if their pinky toe has been injured in any way. I'm not a fan of glue on toe nail tips, they cause more problems in the long run, IMO. i've hurt both of my pinky toes really bad and both of those nails are now deformed in a way. I keep them sanded down and fake like they are normal, lol!
So basically just try to work with it as much as possible and if I can get it to gow then that is cool, but if not it's more than likely because this person has had some form of damage so where up the line
well cut down the toe nails the get nail groth and put it on all toes then they will grow evenly
If the nail is permanently damaged, it won't grow normal. I have run into this problem whith clients from time to time. Sometimes the nail will be more pigmented than the others. If this is the case, or there isn't much nail there, you could try overlaying the nail with pink acrylic to camouflage some of the discoloration and to reshape the nail. This method has worked well for me and hopefully it will work for you too.
actually you may not be able to make their pinky toe grow...it depends on whether they were born with a fungus that stunts the growth...because i was and my pinky toes are the most ugliest things in the whole world....they are pointed like cat claws but wide in the body and then the other one is short and never grows....dr. says that i have a fungus that i was born with that actually stunts the growth til you take meds for it....i have a cream i used it twice...but ill let everyone know the name of it and how it works...you might be able to suggest a client to a podiatrist and the name of the cream....

i keep stubbing my toes and hit my left toe badly in 2009, the nail eventually came off. since it has grown back it has been a good shape and not too thick! finally my clumsiness was helpful!

hope you were able to help your client's toenails to grow better

Pinky toes rarely ever look to grow like the rest of them for various reasons. I have a similar problem with my own, here's how I've gotten them to appear normal...lol I've pushed the cuticles back, using a metal pusher, then using a diamond file bit (battery operated) gently filed the top of nail to a smooth finish. Apply a cuticle oil and buffed into nail and cuticle areas. wiped the toe with a Q-tip dipped in alcohol then applied "Yves Rocher Anti-Breakage" as a base coat before any color polish. YR base I use has vitamins in it and appears to be a yellow shade but does go on clear. It's THE best base coat I've found yet. My toes all look healthy now. Hope this helps!
