OPI & CND are My choice of acrylics. I don't do gels yet so I can't recommend products for that. I use OPI competition or CND Retention. And I also make sure my primer has acid cuz the ones Ive used without it don't seem to hold good for me. I hope I was of some help :)

Can someone help me with finding the right acrylic and gel. I order from youngnails.com because he is a professorial and have his own school and it is also what the army bases use, but it seems as though the primer is not strong enough. I can do everything right but I still have people after a day nails would be popping off like I did something wrong. So Im thinking of changing products and going with someone else. Is there anyone you would recommend?

anybody ever use "biotin" to make nails grow & get stronger?? i heard a side effect is facial hair.. -_____________-

Hi Polly, your English is just fine. : )

If your clients ever experience any type of burning sensation... it is only because the product is coming into contact with their skin. No acrylic product should ever touch client's skin. If it does, have them wash with soap and water immediately. Keep all enhancement products away from skin, and I'm sure it will eliminate the burning problem.

thank much for clearing that up for me ladynailz, when i say acrylic nails burning, i mean i have used starnail acrylic's and 2 of my clients complained for burning only in the tum and i now there was no visible cuts or so on, so it could not be that', i thanks you so much for your answers. Hi Polly, seasons greetings to you too. It is never advisable to mix brands of nail products. Each acrylic line was designed to go with their counterparts. Mixing brands could have adverse effects on both you and the products, and of course the outcome of your work.

Each company can guarantee your safety if their products are used correctly by trained professionals. You never know what could happen if you mix products that weren’t meant to be mixed.  

But I’m not sure what you mean by “acrylic over layers burning.”

HiYa, Seasons greeting every one. i have a quick question. can i mix star nail acrylic powder with another brand acrylic? would it be safe?, and why does acrylic over layers burn?
