please help.
I have a problem nail. Its only the 1 nail. Every time, I get it done- 2 weeks later it starts lifting and then falls off.When I say lifted, its a clean lift starts down the bottom and works its way up.
My nail tech and I are at a lost. We dont know why this nail keeps doing this. Its only this one nail.
Its only been my last 3 sets that this has happened too, none beforehand.
My hands havent been in any harsh chemicals i havent bumped it. I havent been using any creams either.

What nail is affected? What job do you do? Do you have a particular habit you are unaware of? Is it the dominant hand? I had one client and the thumb nail on her right hand kept coming off. It turned out to be the way she was buttoning up her tight jeans and the constant pressure exerted. Only ever wearing jeans, using the bathroom this nail was experiencing trauma. If you work in a kitchen or do bar work this may effect your nails and if you play the guitar. Hope this gives you some ideas. If you can answer the questions above it may lead to the answer.

Yes i agree with ez nails uk below, maybe have your client be more aware cuz it definately could be an unconscious habit. I have this problem with one of my clients, its her middle finger on her dominate hand. There is this like cyst or bump from the way she writes and it is slowly changing the shape of her nail.

Hi, this is my nail. Its my middle right finger. In the last 10 year this has never happened until 2 months ago.
I am only a stay at home mum, with a cleaner so i dont do anything. I am lost, and so is my nail tech.
We have tried reverse application, different products acrylics. No now we are going to elimmated the tip and do sculpted and see if its the tip or the glue.
Will keep you posted.

i had the same problem some time ago,i rung NSI and they said try gel on that one instead of acrylic so i did,problem solved,she was on medication,so ended up changing over to gel for the other nails,never happened since lol!

My daughter has the same problem all of them cum off in days of doin them, tried gel nails, but does also go for bitter nails cause she want 2 stop & grow her nails,can't keep nails on, so what should I do

my daughter also bites her nails,i tried the young nails video on their website( www.youngnails.co.uk) and on there Greg shows how to custom fit a nail form,i tried this and my daughter was really happy,its better not to have the nails too long as if someone isnt use to nails,they use them as tools lol !
There is also another clip on www.nailangel.co.uk that shows you another way,hope this helps good luck x
