Hey Michelle, I only do acrylic so the shatter was on acrylic when i finished my nail i do a coat of clear polish let that dry THEN shatter, it only sticks to a shiny surface, then i either apply gel overlay or polish and it works for either but mine is dont on acrylic not gel :) hope that helps??!!

Hey if the truth be told, all of us get discouraged sometimes in this field. No matter how knew or how experienced u are in this field u have to stay encouraged and sometimes when u can't find encouragement u have to encourage urself! Find creative ways to stay out the box. Everybody is doing the same thing where ever u go. start ur own trends! I have been doing nails since 15yrs old on and off! I am still learning and teachable! love what u do have fun with it and grow. u'll make it! u can do it!
