hi ladies. i hope all is well. i have been practicing my acrylics often but i dont think i am getting any better. i am having the hardest time with making my cuticle area smooth. i know to keep the brush between the acrylic and the cuticle to keep it off the skin, but my finished product is always super lumpy around the cuticle. no matter how much i file, i cant ever get is really smooth. the rest of the nail ends up perfectly smooth. any ideas or suggestions??

Of course your work is ready to be displayed. And there is always a pro around here willing to offer a little constructive criticism, if you ask for it. Everybody needs practice with something. I myself am having trouble with finger-to-finger consistency with Pipe nails. So I think you should go on and show your work, I’ll bet its great! And you already have the right idea… practice is all it takes, and is the key to confidence. ◦◕‿◕◦
